The Astrological Calendar is used for planting vegetables using the Moon and is designed by Thomas Zimmer, who releases a new version every year around November. It is specially designed for use in the Southern Hemisphere. You have to check your timezones to calculate the times on the calendar, which are written on the calendar itself.
Thomas spends a lot of time creating these colourful calendars full of astrological information. It shows the moon phase, equinox, solstice and eclipse dates. He even includes some commentary.
The calendar looks complicated, but if you spend a little time with it, you realise that everybody can use it. You do not need to be “into” Astrology, but for sure, it is a convenient tool. We here at 061 self-sufficient are using it for our garden. We even wrote a little explanation course on how to use the calendar.
