- You can request changes if some things are not working for you. We customise your listing and profile page.

A MEMBERSHIP FEE?
I can come up with several reasons why not. Basically, every dollar goes towards running this site. Rianna an I pay for this site out of our own pocket, this is either hard cash or time, so every dollar helps.
The site has gone through several changes in layout, direction and purpose. We are still searching for the right balance. The key always has been and will be self-sufficiency and for locals by locals. It is important, and as time progresses, it becomes clear why.
If you want to sign-up up for free, that is fine. Just consider a small donation.
WHY SHOULD i?
Truth be told, we are still trying to find our place in this crazy world. But we know where we are heading and like to take you on the journey where possible. Neither of us is an expert, but we have been there and done it in most situations we talk about. Focusing on food, particularly good honest food, we stay true to our course. We promote food and only local growers and businesses at that. Our focus is short supply chains, self-sufficiency, and connecting people within a postcode community.
Members mentioned the need for secure video conferencing, secure messaging and communication. For this reason, we extended to Trade Shack Social (https://social.tradeshack.au). Trade Shack goes beyond the trading of goods. We also trade information.
The Trade Shack is about trading anything, goods, services and information within the Postcode Community. Helping YOU as an individual collect what you need, and build connections and relationships within and around your postcode community—doing so securely, safely and with peace of mind.
Just remember to put your postcode so we can link you to a community.
SECURITY
We think it is but remember one thing. “What is made by man can be broken by man”. Everything can be hacked. It is just the level of sophistication required to do so. We have a Level A+ security status, and we keep an eye on that.
