Middle eastern sautèd Mallow

  • 1/2 Tb Olive oil
  • 2 cups Cheese mallow , roughly chopped
  • Pinch of Salt and black pepper
  • 1 Small onion, thinly sliced


  1. Heat a skillet on medium heat, and add olive oil.
  2. Add the onion, and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the common mallow leaves, toss the leaves, and add salt and pepper
  4. Add a squeeze of lemon, and serve immediately. Refrigerate any leftovers for a couple of days only.
