Who we are
Our website address is: https://tradeshack.au, more commonly known as Self Sufficient
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Profile data and visibility.
Great care is taken to keep your profile data safe and secure. When you log in to your profile you can set what you want others to see, based on their login status or based upon friends’ status. You are in control of what others see. This is an added level of privacy and control we added to give you the opportunity to be as private as you want to be.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. We had put mechanisms in place to remove the Meta Data, like location data etc, however it is best you manually remove it if you have privacy concerns.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. We will NOT share your data with anybody, we store the minimum required data that is required to run the site. How long do we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service, which only looks at the content of the message, no personal data is transimitted.
Why do we charge a small amount.
To keep your privacy safe and to keep trolls out we charge a small fee, this is an added level of security in the sense that it keeps the browsers and lookers out.
