Adding or Editing a Business Listing on the Membership Account Page

This page allows users to add or edit the details of a business listing on the platform. Below is an explanation of each section to guide you through the process:

1. Title

  • Field: Enter the title of the listing, which will be the name displayed to other users.
  • Example: “Silverbeet”
 

2. What are you selling? (Required)

  • Field: Select the category that best describes what you are selling. You can choose multiple categories depending on your listing.
  • Example: Vegetables, Locally Made
 

3. Condition (Required)

  • Field: Select the condition of the item being sold. Options include:
    • New
    • Like New
    • Used
    • Good
    • Fair
    • Not Applicable

4. Categories

  • Field: Select relevant categories for your item. You can add multiple categories as needed.
  • Example: Vegetables, Locally Made
 

5. Location

  • Field: Enter the location of the item or business. You can select from a map, and there is an option to enter the address manually.
  • Example: King Scrub, QLD, 4521, Australia
 

6. Phone Number

  • Field: Enter the phone number if you want it to be displayed as a contact option.
 

7. Show Contact Details

  • Dropdown: Choose how you want your contact details displayed. You can opt for the contact form or select specific information.
 

8. Email Address (Required)

  • Field: Enter a valid email address to be used as a contact for the listing.
 

9. Website URL

  • Field: Optional space to add a URL to a website related to the business or listing.
 

10. Listing Image (Required)

  • Field: Upload an image representing the product or service. One image is mandatory, and you can upload a maximum file size of 600MB.
  • Example: The current listing includes an image of Silverbeet.
 

11. Photos

  • Field: You can upload up to five additional photos to further showcase your item.
  • Example: Two images are currently uploaded: “Printed” and “Bountiful Harvest.”
 

12. Detailed Description

  • Field: Provide a detailed description of the item you are selling. Use this space to explain key features, qualities, or additional information.
  • Example: “Silverbeet organically grown on King Scrub.”
 

13. Videos

  • Field: Add a video link (YouTube or other platforms) if you have a video related to the product.
 

14. Trade or Sell? (Required)

  • Option: Select whether you want to trade the item or sell it outright. You can also select Open to both if applicable.
 

15. Price (Required)

  • Field: Enter the price of the item, or mark it as free if applicable.
 

16. Volume Weight

  • Dropdown: Specify the quantity or weight of the item for sale.
 

17. Quantity Left

  • Field: Indicate how many units of the item are left for sale.
 

18. Date Listed

  • Field: This auto-populated field shows the date when the listing was created.
 

19. Tags

  • Field: Enter any relevant keywords or tags to help with search and categorization.
 

20. Meetup Preferences/Exchange

  • Field: Specify how you prefer to exchange the goods. Options may include in-person or online arrangements.
 

21. Grow Method

  • Field: Specify how the product (e.g., vegetables) was grown. Select from options like Organic, Hydroponics, Soil, etc.
 

22. Open Hours

  • Field: Set your business hours for each day of the week. This allows potential buyers to know when you are available for communication or sales.
 

23. Postcode Community

  • Field: Enter the postcode of your community.
 

24. Status

  • Option: Select whether the item is Pending Pickup or Sold.
 

25. Save Changes

  • After entering all the details, click Save Changes to publish or update your listing.
